Send a Cow has now signed a new agreement to train 340 poor households over a 15-month period in animal management, sustainable farming, and group work. Those families will then be given good quality in-calf dairy heifers, plus ongoing support.

The latest contract follows the ongoing success of a similar one signed last year, under which almost 800 families are receiving heifers, goats or pigs. Subject to satisfactory progress, that contract will be renewed annually for five years.
