Extent Of Bovine TB In New Mexico Unknown
MEXICO - State Agriculture Secretary Miley Gonzales says officials are still trying to decide the ramifications of bovine tuberculosis in dairy cattle in eastern New Mexico.And he says it’s possible all cattle in the state would have to be tested—which could cost the state $4 million to $5 million.
Animals within the restricted zone cannot be moved without an inspection.
