Kosovo - Dairy Revival?
KOSOVO - Besim Beqaj, President of the Chamber of Commerce (OEK) of the United Nations-administered province of Kosovo, says that the food industry, including the dairy sector, is one of a number of industries in Kosovo that should be developed, according to SeeNews.

Beqaj added that these industries "...are key to the initial revival of the economy, because the necessary investments are not so big and the return of investments comes after a short time".
Kosovo has a total of 26 dairies, of which the two largest each produce 20,000 litres of milk per day. Five of the dairies each produce between 10,000 and 19,000 litres per day, with the remaining dairies each producing under 10,000 litres per day.
