Located about two kilometres on Mukono- Kyetume road, Nyabubare Dairy Farm sells boers (male) and Toggenberg (female) goats and friesian cows from South Africa. It currently has 50 cows and over 60 goats.

"A mature boer is six times the size of a local breed," says Alexander Twinomugisha, the farm's managing director.

According to him, a mature boer weighs between 50kgs and 60kgs while a local breed weighs between eight and 10kgs.

A goat costs sh300,000, which is about six times the price of local breeds which cost sh50,000.

"We are not expensive. Given good care, one he-goat is worth millions of shillings," he explains.
