South Korea to maintain ban on US beef

SEOUL - South Korea has refused to ease a ban on US beef imports, citing widespread concerns here about mad cow disease, officials said.
The rejection came at talks between South Korean Agriculture Minister Huh Sang-Man and a US delegation led by Undersecretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services J.B. Penn, Huh's office said.
