The Peace Country Tender Beef Co-op, with 90 per cent of its members from the Peace Country, announced last week it's pulling its plan to build a slaughterhouse in Dawson Creek, saying there were too many provincial government delays.

Now the group is working hard to rebuild in Alberta.

The co-op has already secured land in a Peace Country town, but co-op chairman Neil Peacock said the town has asked to keep the location quiet until an official open house for residents is held in another two weeks.
