Govt Issues Notice to Major Companies for Milk

PAKISTAN - The government on Wednesday issued a notice to almost all major providers of pasteurised milk, asking them to explain reports which show that their products are unfit for human consumption.

The notice, which the Daily Times gained access to, stated that ten reports had been submitted with regards to samples of pasteurised milk which showed that apart from milk sold by PREMA, the products of all other major producers were unfit for human consumption.
