Over 300 protesters gathered at the plant in Ashby de la Zouch.

The protest was another one organised by Farmers for Action.

The pressure put on processors and retailers over the past two months has already forced them to abandon milk price cuts that were to come into play on August 1.

However, Farmers for Action has said the pressure on retailers and processors will continue until farmers are paid a fair price for milk.
