Baycox
Baycox® Prevent Coccidiosis... Protect Your Profit

Coccidiosis is the most commonly diagnosed disease of the digestive tract in calves aged 3-12 weeks¹. It is contracted when calves ingest coccidial oocysts from a contaminated environment.

Left untreated, coccidiosis will result in drastic multiplication and eruption of the parasite from the gut cells. It can lead to extensive gut damage, and negative effects on productivity. Inevitably, this is not just damaging to the animal, but costly to the farmer.

Baycox® is a highly effective anticoccidial parasiticide for veterinary use in cattle. Baycox®, provides a convenient single dose solution for effective control of the main pathogenic strains of coccidia found in calves, Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii. Its convenient single dose is a ready to use, oral suspension of 50mg/ml toltrazuril.

Correct timing of the administration of Baycox® is key to success. Whilst treatment in the face of an outbreak is still beneficial, the way to stop losses caused by coccidiosis is to treat calves after they have been exposed to oocysts but before clinical signs appear and extensive damage to the gut has occurred.

Easily administered, one of its benefits is long activity in the body, offering flexibility and a wide intervention window. Benefits of PREVENTING coccidiosis with Baycox®

  • Helps calves reach their full potential
  • Effective preventatively and therapeutically
