Total retail production of animal feed in December 2011 was lower compared to a year ago.

- In December 2011 the total GB retail production of animal feed was -3.5% compared with December 2010
- In December 2011 the total GB raw material usage in the retail production of animal feed was -2.9% compared with December 2010
- In December 2011 the total GB integrated feed production was -6.5% compared with December 2010
- For the period July to September 2011 quarterly average prices of animal feedingstuffs were the following:
Cattle and calf feed - £222 per Tonne
Pig feed - £256 per Tonne
Poultry feed - £278 per Tonne
Sheep feed - £217 per Tonne
