Steady position resumes for cattle trade
In week ended 28 November the cattle trade continued its broad stability. At 343.9p/kg the GB average lost the minor amount of ground it gained last week.
For another week, this continues to provide evidence of the balance in the trade. The GB average has changed very little over the past six weeks. AHDB estimates suggest that overall the number of cattle coming forward was up around 500 head on the week earlier, playing a part in keeping the equilibrium just in processors favour.
