UK Price, Volume and Composition of Milk - September 2015
Key point
In September 2015 the UK average farm gate milk price increased to 23.61p per litre. This represents a 1.4% (0.33p per litre) increase on August 2015 and the first real increase since November 2013 (the increase shown in February 2015 was affected by retrospective payments to some producers). The average price remains 23% lower than in September 2014.
