Created as a direct response to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, the new online portal contains video overviews of machines in the Keenan range. Members of the UK and Ireland Keenan sales team highlight the key features and benefits of each machine model and detail the comprehensive range of support services Keenan has made available at this time.

“It is imperative that our team is able to continue supporting the farming community with their new machine research and evaluation to assist in their decision-making process — even in these uncertain times,” said James Brough, Keenan UK and Ireland general manager. “For us and for farmers, it remains ‘business as usual’ and our objective is to keep the wheels of the industry turning as smoothly as possible. This means providing additional support, wherever we can. Our machinery delivers significant on-farm efficiencies and we shouldn’t let COVID-19 be an obstacle to farmers reaping the benefits of Keenan’s advanced technology.”

In addition to the Virtual Showroom, Keenan has introduced several support initiatives for farmers to address the challenging conditions that many are operating in. These include offering remote valuations of trade-in machines, introduction of a range of finance plans, as well as flexible payment options — such as deferred payment into late 2020 and beyond.

“Offering robust and flexible solutions is integral to Keenan’s approach and the Virtual Showroom is another valuable resource in our toolbox,” continued James. “Our skilled team of welders and fabricators continue building machines to order in our factory in Borris, County Carlow and our service engineers are still on the road ensuring our key brand promise of ‘never miss a feed’ is upheld, even during these difficult times.”

On a separate note, as everyone adapts to the new norm of self-isolation, Keenan has also created a dedicated Kidzone on its website. Designed for children currently being home schooled, the activities include colouring sheets, as well as maths and observation quizzes. With an emphasis on fun, the Keenan Kidzone aims to keep children busy and entertained by providing a growing number of creative, farm-related materials.

“We have always been known for our close relationship with our customers, our innovative thinking and ability to problem-solve,” concluded James. “The team at Keenan will continue to evolve our response to support farmers as best we can.”
