Exports to Canada and Mexico under USMCA’s predecessor, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), increased from $8.9 billion to $39 billion yearly.

The USMCA would retain those gains while adding improvements in terms of trade for poultry, eggs, dairy and wine.

AFBF, meanwhile, continues to press for a resolution to disputes over steel and aluminum imports that have led to the imposition of tariffs and other trade barriers against US agricultural products.
