BOTSWANA – A major vaccination project has been rolled out through north west Botswana following the foot and mouth disease outbreak last month.
No further outbreaks have been confirmed following the 41 cases identified on 3 November.
A total of 15,715 cattle have been vaccinated in the Ngamiland region.
The area under restriction is a communal cattle grazing area which was cut off from routine vaccinations from August flooding.
