Producer Groups to Increase Further07 June 2013
UKRAINE – Village councils are becoming involved in a Ministry initiative that is set to alter the way goods are sold.
Agriculture Minster, Nicholas Prysiazhnyuk announced that upwards of 3,500 town and village councillors were looking into acquiring knowledge and information in order to form fully functioning producer trading groups.
Education about how cooperatives work is being issued from 70 workshops.
The number of active agricultural cooperatives currently stands at 885, 100 more since the initiative was begun.
