Rosselkhozbank Invests in Kaliningrad Dairy Complex11 February 2013
RUSSIA - The Russia Agricultural Bank, Rosselkhozabnk is to make available more and 1 billion rubles to create a livestock enterprise in the Kaliningrad region.
The unit, LLC "Zalesie-Agro", is being built in the Polesskoe Kaliningrad district.
The project will consist of a modern complex for the breeding of cattle, which will consist of four barns with an integrated cleaning system, milking and maternity units, and storage facilities.
LLC "Zalesie-Agro" is expected to be established this year and by 2015 to reach full capacity - 2400 head of cattle.
Construction of such high-tech companies will increase the volume of production of dairy and beef cattle in the Kaliningrad region, and will also give impetus to the development of the regional economy, creating new jobs and increase tax revenues to the regional budget, Rosselkhozbank said.
