The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 4 dated 17 June to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

The report describes a single outbreak of FMD, starting on 20 May at Lumane in the region on Gaza in the south of the country. Seven cases were found in a herd of 2,000 village cattle.

Eight previously reported outbreaks have been resolved, adds the report. No clinical cases of the disease have been observed in the area of these outbreaks in the last four months.
