Inaugurating a special medical camp at Chinnepalli in Kammampalli Panchayat, Mr Roy told The Hindu that cattle rearing improved the economic conditions of farmers who depended on agriculture.

The special camps for cattle were introduced by the State Government to help farmers avoid the difficulty of taking cattle to the veterinary hospitals.

Of the 140 special medical camps planned at Rs. 700,000, 54 camps would be held in July, August and September, 57 during October, November and December and 29 camps in January and February 2011.
