Print This Page Pfizer Extends 10 Million Yuan to Earthquake Victims
BEIJING, CHINA – Today Pfizer, an animal health pharmaceutical company, announced it is providing up to RMB 10 million (approximately $1.4 million U.S.D) in medicines and financial assistance to relief organizations operating in the region worst affected by the massive earthquake.“We were devastated to hear about the rising death tolls and escalating number of injuries in Sichuan Province,” said Ahmet Esen, country manager of Pfizer China. “Pfizer will work closely with the Chinese Government to provide assistance to victims of the disaster,” Esen added.
Dudley Schleier, Area President for the Japan/Asia region said, “Pfizer will do its best to partner with international and local relief agencies to deliver both funds and medicines quickly and efficiently to earthquake-affected individuals.”
