Summary:

Seeking outside sales representative for Manure Handling Equipment Manufacturer to promote company products and provide sales support to company dealers within the United States and Canada.

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work requires travelling throughout the United States and Canada every other week with Lynden, Washington being the base when not traveling.
  • Identify needs and provide sales support to help dealers sell equipment
  • Prepare and submit equipment proposals in conjunction with dealer
  • Provide employer with feedback from dealers on needs and information from field
  • Help bring new ideas to employer for product needs
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and pricing
  • Establish and maintain current customers and potential customer relationships
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns
  • Attend trade shows as part of sales team

Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in the agricultural, most desirable the dairy industry
  • Mechanical background and aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and be a self starter
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work quickly and efficiently
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
