Default Our Bull is getting worse..

We have a 3 year old Santa Gertrudis Bull. He's been acting like he doesn't feel well for a little over a month.
Five days ago, he developed a basketball size protrusion from his lower right side. I researched online and the only thing I came up with was hemoragic bowel syndrome or "bloody gut". IF it were that.. he'd already be dead.
He hasn't pooped in three days.
Today we're going to attempt an enema and see if there might be a resolution by doing that.
He's eating hay and a little feed . I haven't seen him drink anything, but that doesn't mean he isn't drinking.. I just haven't seen it.
Anyone have any ideas??
OH.. we've been giving him mineral oil for the past three days too.
