Dairy Cow W/ Hives and Edema

Hi.
Noticed the other day my dairy cow had hives everywhere so i took her a bath and then i noticed she had alot of edema (swelling) on her dewlap and underneath her belly..
What could this possibly...

I did have the vet come again yesterday and she is now on Poly-Flex. She is drinking eating, and acting like a totally normal cow and this has been going on since sunday. No Scours either....
